On October 11, 2024, at a meeting of the Scientific Committee, new members of the Scientific Council of the National Research Fund of Ukraine were elected.
To the section of natural, technical sciences and mathematics selected:
– Hanna Yuliivna BORODIANSKA - doctor of technical sciences, head of the laboratory of the Institute of Problems of Materials Science named after I. M. Frantsevicha, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, senior researcher.
– Dmytro Mykhailovych VAVRIV - doctor of physical and mathematical sciences, professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, deputy director for scientific work and head of the research department of microwave devices of the Radio Astronomy Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.

Shvartau were elected to the vacant positions that arose as a result of the early termination of the powers of members of the Scientific Council, with a term of office within four years from the date of entry into force of the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine from April 18, 2023 No. 320
At the meeting of the Scientific Committee, the personal composition of candidates to fill vacancies in the event of premature termination of the powers of members of the scientific council sections of the National Research Fund of Ukraine was also determined. In accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Scientific and Scientific-Technical Activities", all newly elected candidates are subject to approval by the National Council of Ukraine on Science and Technology Development and approval by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
